Coyote Wall Hike

Coyote Wall Hike on the Washington side of the Gorge is a medium challenge hike that quickly ascends up the hill side about half way through the hike. At first, we did a zigzag up the hill in a wide open meadow – making sure to turn around and look at the vast view. It was a bit cloudy the day we went, as evident in the pictures.

Looking back to the Columbia River.

I love going on the same hike during different times of year, because the landscapes and foliage change so much. It’s like going on a new hike.

I’ve been working on my fear of heights. It will always be there, but it’s nice that it doesn’t completely hinder me from activities. I did get a little shaky and nervous when we went along this cliff, but I think that’s a healthy concern. No one should ever test a cliff. You might lose.
